HHS FASHION SHOW
“Back? To the Future! New Date …… Wednesday 10th July 2013
It has been a very long time coming……. First there was Fashion Extravaganza to celebrate our diverse communities within HHS. Then there was ‘Sporty Party’ to celebrate HHS gaining Sports College status. Now the Fashion and Textiles Department is launching a long awaited fashion show next year called ‘Back? To the Future!’ Our theme will celebrate how far we have come. All Harrow High School’s Finest will be celebrated. We will display our fantastic fashion designers and their amazing GCSE and BTEC Fashion and Clothing outcomes on our fashion catwalk. There will be supporting live music and dance acts from our talented learners.. We will also show off how our school has further developed and is so unique and different – HHS Football Academy members, HHS Basketball Academy members and HHS Cadets will feature as well. We look ‘Back’ and forward ‘‘To the Future!’ All Auditions for learners who signed up to participate to model, dance, to sing, to play live music, to DJ and MC, to be part of the production team will take place in Fashion Club every Wednesday at lunchtimes (KS3) and After School (KS3 and KS4). While we wait in anticipation for this exciting event, learners who have already signed up are encouraged to keep on practicing. All learners are welcome to show of their talent and progress at Fashion Club until rehearsals begin in the Summer term.

RISING STAR

Since Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye left us in the summer to continue his studies and basketball career in Bristol, he has been contributing incredibly well for the Bristol Flyers Division 1 Mens team. For a 16 year old, this is outstanding. He was top scorer last night in a National cup game. Dwayne has also just found out that he has been selected for the GB Youth Olympic Team that is going to Australia in January.
