Citrix Tunnel: Remote Access

Instructions

Step 1:
Windows Users: Download and run this file - the Citrix Receiver. Follow the on-screen instructions. This plugin allows you to access the Citrix Remote Desktop through your web browser on a PC.
Mac Users: Download and run this file - the Citrix Online Plugin (web). Follow the on-screen instructions. This plugin allows you to access the Citrix Remote Desktop through your web browser on a Mac.

Step 2:
Visit https://remote.hhsweb.org and Log In using your username and password as if you were logging in to a school computer. You may need to 'allow' the plugin by clicking on the security bar at the top of your web browser window. If the page does not refresh automatically, press F5 to refresh it.

Step 3:
Wait for the loading process to complete (note this may take a few minutes)

Step 4:
Click on the HHS Desktop Icon
(note: in some browsers this may download a small file that you will need to open to access the remote desktop)

Step 5:
After waiting for the Citrix Plugin to initialise, the remote desktop will connect and you will be able to access the school network.

Advice: It is recommended to use the latest version of Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer to use this service, since they provide the most user friendly experience. Google Chrome, Safari and other browsers will work but may require different or more complex methods of installation and use.
